Speech-Language Pathology

Our speech-language pathologists (S-LPs) work across the province. They work with health workers, preschool teachers, families and other caregivers.

Services are offered to preschool children up to the age which they can start primary school according to the Nova Scotia Department of Education criteria, and to all adults.

Their work includes:

  • Prevention
  • Screening
  • Testing
  • Teaching
  • Research

All services meet provincial standards of care.

Our staff is nationally certified.
